I helped Marna furnish her big, beautiful home 15 years ago. So when she scaled down to a townhome in West Des Moines, we kept what still worked and gave her a fresh new take on the accents.
Because she wisely chose neutral fabrics for her main furniture, we were able to use most of it in the new space. We decided the purple and red accents were dated and “heavy looking”. Just a quick switch of the purple chair, pillows, lamps, art and window treatments gives us a much calmer room. What a difference it makes for a whole new look!
You can imagine how well this grouping works now. Its serene, sophisticated and inviting.
