Jessica had the chance to work on furnishings for one such cool Des Moines rental recently. Given the great downtown location of this new townhome, the property owner, Pamela, wanted to create a setting that could play host to a variety of clientele. This meant prioritizing comfort, practicality, and of course – style.
The resulting upscale design goes by the name of Downtown Vista and the view is great – inside and out.
The townhome has two bedrooms, but to truly optimize the space, Pamela requested a sleeper sofa in the living room. The king bed in the larger bedroom is upholstered in a highly textured boucle fabric. The high-low pile of the rug is so plush and intensifies the dramatic, high contrast nature of the whole room design.
