This uber-sophisticated downtown Des Moines condo was a fun project. It was a bit unusual due to the fact that it is a commercial condo used primarily for out-of-town clients & meetings. From the start our goal was to make the space seem more personal and less corporate.

The art work is an obvious focal point of the living room. We picked up the art colors in softer, more subtle spa tones that won’t get dated. The flooring is a muti-layer of cork flooring area rugs and carpets.
The living room features Zazu swivel chairs, a Delmar wood base chair and a Grisham sofa. The three small Gala ottomans offer easy additional seating. I chose glass end tables that add style without bulk and enhance the serene feeling of the room. The bedroom features custom bedding and a Tremont chair.
One fun aspect of the project was working with architect Rod Smith. Brain-storming and working as a team was very rewarding.
