Creating a new home and new lifestyle by combining new designs with old.
My long-term clients, Karen & her husband, moved from their beautiful home to a town home on a lake — creating an exciting new project. They wanted this new home to be a very inviting, casual and totally practical place for the whole family (including grandkids)((maybe especially grandkids))… to hang out.
Lake views are always a focal point. The thing is to create a great interior space that relates to a wonderful outdoor view. We kept their colors light, airy and natural with the idea of bringing the outdoors in.
The square leather sectional is living room furniture from the old house. That project was a few years ago, but the furniture still looks great. Plus, it was a great color lead into the lower level. That is one of the benefits of buying quality furniture the first time!
The lower level features a Kaden angled sectional in beautiful stone colored leather. The angled design makes it easy for everyone to kick back and relax around the large Lilly ottoman. Showcased behind the Kaden is a glass-top game table with four fun curved Fred ottomans in Crypton fabric for easy care. The Fred ottomans also serve as a good window seat to view the lake.
Comfortable. Stylish. Practical. Home. That is the story of this room.
