Have You Neglected Your Front Entry Design?

Every room needs a focal point.

Need I say it? You never get a second chance to make a first impression. Your home’s first impression: the front entry. It’s worth some time and effort. Here is one I worked on recently.

Those wall sconces with dangling chains are beautiful and functional. They add the dazzle to the space.
We didn’t want anything that would take away from them. The anchor piece of the room is the Madison console — which we customized with artisan glass mirrors.

Then we found the dimensional metal art piece for above the console. The circular ginkgo leaf pattern is a nice contrast and adds organic lines to the geometric console. I love how the light plays off of the leaves creating both drama and interest.

Last, but not least, was the addition of the ocean blue swoop bowl. Its very simple but adds a nice exclamation point for the grouping. We also used it to set the color tone for the surrounding rooms. In a word, WOW!!!

I’ll be posting more about this beautiful home soon!
