Okay, if you’ve been around by Design for the last couple of years, you know that black never left. It has been one of our staples and we only love it more. But, black is getting new love from the trend spotters. Here is how Norwalk Furniture described the trend at Fall High Point Market:
After three years of homage to all things grey, it’s more intense cousin, black, is back with full intensity. Combined most effectively with bright white and exploring the drama of line and graphic outline, black and white pairings dominated the fashion runways in 2012-2013. At home, this chic combination provides a neutral background for a pop of incandescent hot positive color. We like to make that color pop close to a neon hue — think acid green, passion pink or electric blue for a sleek modern decor that’s sure to energize.
If you’re a bit of a fabric geek like us — take a peek at this gallery of a few of the delicious black fabrics on our fabric wall (of course we have lots of great black solids too): [nggallery id=155]
Plus, we have thousands and thousands more fabrics on our fabric wall. Plus, one entire room in our store is devoted to black and white! (I told you we loved it.)
