Mid-century modern (think Mad Men) is a powerful interior design style. When done well, it is a wonderful look and feel. Though it may sound contradictory, it manages to feel both modern and nostalgic. Sophisticated and fun. It’s irresistible when you think about it.
We have a great example on our floor right now in the Gigi chair. Both the design and the fabric play into the mid-century modern look. We’d be the first to admit that a piece like the Gigi can be used in other looks. Even when executed this way, the chair could bring a sense of humor & those modern/nostalgic touches to your room.
