FINISH: Cambridge hides are first immersed in drums containing aniline dyes, which
create a rich saturation of color. Hides are then vacuum dried, to provide smoothness and tightness of grain. Cambridge hides are then hand-rubbed by skilled craftsmen, using additional, different colorations of aniline dyes, and then hand-buffed and burnished to give an antique effect. Finally, a hydro- repellent finish is added.

DESCRIPTION: The final appearance of Cambridge approximates that of natural cork sheeting.

DESCRIPTION: Corsica is a pure aniline, with no pigmentation added. All color variation is provided by the mix of waxes and oils, and by the effect achieved in the crackling process. Dramatic, natural color variation will occur from hide to hide, and within a hide. It is a full grain, so healed scars will be evident. The wax finish will polish and burnish over time. The unique crackled appearance will be enhanced over time with use.

DESCRIPTION:  Roxbury has a unique softness and natural hand similar to a full aniline leather with a slight luster, making it the perfect leather for traditional/contemporary and everything in between.

FINISH: Chrome tanning process followed by an aniline dye and fat liquoring to enhance natural softness. Grain is slightly buffed to remove small natural surface faults. Article has natural grain (not embossed). Finished with light translucent pigments to enhance color consistency in combination with a light protective finish. A natural sheen is
achieved by passing the hide through a rotary ironing machine.
