Neil and Lolet’s Family Room

“Candice is asked to create a more manly retreat for Neil in a home that is dominated by women”

Bit by bit Neil has been getting the `pink’ out of the house he shares with wife Lolet, daughter Kristina, and his mother Brenda. At Neil’s house, even the dogs are imagefemale and, as the lone male, Neil really wanted a space that had a more masculine feel that his family could still enjoy. Candice set the tone with soft neutrals that were pulled from nature.

Beiges and gold with hits of green established the color palette while natural textures added a masculine feel. Candice addressed the need for multiple seating in this small space by bringing in a Parker Sectional in fabric #2 312412 as well as Pablo ottomans. This provided ample seating for when Neil’s friends come over to watch “the game”. They are upholstered in fabrics that are durable and easy to clean.

Watch how Candice manages to create a room for Neil that is still comfortable for the whole family.
